BARDA RFI for Draft Solicitation

BARDA released a Request for Information (RFI) to collect feedback on their Ventures Draft Solicitation. This is continued market research for the possible development of a Venture Partner program to foster and accelerate the development of innovative tools and technologies that enhance National Health Security preparedness. Interested parties must respond to the RFI by November 18, 2019, 09:00am ET.

 

Technologies Selected for Biolocity Commercialization Funding

 
Five promising biomedical research innovations across three campuses have been chosen for Biolocity’s newest cohort.

Faculty at Georgia Tech, Emory University, and Georgia State University have been selected to receive a broad range of support from Biolocity to accelerate the commercialization of their patient impacting technologies. During their funding period, each team will receive project management and work directly with business experts and consultants to de-risk their technology and advance its development.

Biolocity Selected to Join BARDA DRIVe Accelerator Network

The Biolocity team (formerly the Coulter Translational Program) was selected to join an innovation accelerator network that provides small and start-up biotechnology innovators with technical and entrepreneurial support they need to accelerate the development of products that could transform the nation’s approach to health security threats.
